Have you seen the starry eyes of the young stars full of potentiality? Rookie’s Inception 2.0 has come to fulfill their dreams. A battle of intelligence, a spirit to surpass oneself.
Rookie’s Inception 2.0 was inaugurated on March 4th, 2022. It was designed for the FBS undergraduate freshers of Dhaka University. This marked the second edition of this event.
The program is a business case competition based on the supply chain context. From the beginning, we prioritized fostering career development, familiarising participants with real-life business situations, and accumulating valuable experiences.
A total of 160 individuals registered for the competition. All participants showcased their immense intelligence in solving the cases. It enhanced their analytical abilities and problem-solving aptitude.
The competition consisted of three interactive rounds, preceded by a workshop conducted for the rookies. They received insights from renowned supply chain management professionals. The discerning souls faced a quiz competition in the first step, and only 30 participants advanced to the second round. SCA formed 10 teams and provided them with a case to solve. Selecting the best of the bests was challenging, and 6 teams made it to the final round. They presented amazing solutions to a new case before our honorable judges.
On April 12th, we were thrilled to announce the three most talented teams as the winners. The judges of the final round were Abdullah Al Masud and Mohammed Zia Uddin, CSCM. After a gruellingly close and thrilling finale, the champion title went to Ahon Aminul, Asik Dewan, and Fardin Ahmed, while Riduan Sharif, Abdullah Probal, and Fahim Faisal impressed us as the first runner-up. Finally, Tawhidur Rahman, Niloy Talukder, and Lamia Humayra secured the second runner-up position.
Ultimately, the champion teams brought home a prize pool worth 10000 BDT, lucrative gifts and valuable learnings that they utilized to further excel in their academic journey.
